❓ Frequently Asked Questions
ROI (Return on Investment) = ((Final Value − Initial Value) / Initial Value) × 100. For example, invest $10,000, get back $26,000 → ROI = (16,000 / 10,000) × 100 = 160%. A positive ROI means profit.
CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) = (Final/Initial)^(1/T) − 1. It shows the average annual rate at which an investment grew. It is the most accurate way to compare investments of different durations.
A lump sum is a one-time large investment. SIP means investing a fixed amount every month. SIP reduces timing risk through cost averaging. Both benefit from compounding, but regular SIP contributions can build significantly more wealth over time.
