How the Vinyl Material Calculator Works
This calculator figures out how many copies of your design fit side-by-side across your roll's fixed width, then how many rows down the roll are needed to produce your full quantity. It automatically checks both orientations — design as drawn, and rotated 90 degrees — and picks whichever uses less material for each design size in your job.
Working With Multiple Design Sizes
Most real jobs mix sizes — a logo at three sizes, or several different graphics for one order. Use "Add another design size" for each distinct size in your job; the calculator works out each one's best-fit layout separately, then adds up the total length of vinyl your whole job needs.
